A calm, personal approach
Legal questions involving family and home can feel deeply personal and difficult to untangle. Heather approaches each conversation with care, patience, and respect for the person behind the legal issue.
Meet Heather
Heather received Bachelor of Arts and Sciences from Oakland University and her Juris Doctorate of Law from Michigan State University. She has been a licensed attorney since 2005. She has dedicated her practice primarily to the area of family law, including divorce, custody, parenting time, change of domicile and child support. Having gone through a high conflict divorce and custody battle with two young children herself, Heather understands the emotional toll family law litigation takes on her clients. It is this personal experience that motivates her to fight for her client’s rights to have not only a fair and equitable outcome, but a peaceful resolution. Heather is passionate about ensuring her clients feel well informed throughout the entire litigation process and firmly believes no question is a dumb question.
Heather is re-married, has three adult children, and has a deep love for dogs, especially her French bulldog Rosie.
